standardised reporting directive

Directive 91/692/EEC. This directive provides for the harmonisation of sector reports on the implementation of 27 directives in the air, water and waste sectors. Member States have to produce sector reports every three years on these directive, based on a questionnaire format provided by the Commission. One exception is the bathing water directive (76/160/EEC) which has to be reported on to the Commission on an annual basis so as to provide the public with information at the earliest opportunity.
