Let it be our starting point to reduce the environmental impacts of transport!

Transport patterns have widespread and serious environmental impacts. Missions and transport to and from our office are a part of this. But that is also something that we can influence. To make EEA transport habits more environmentally friendly, the EMAS travel group is organising a kick off awareness raising event for staff during European Mobility week (16-22 September).

Agenda

8:00-9:30
Arrival by as many different non-motorised transport means as possible! Get a welcome coffee, be the star of our video spot, get information on EEA’s staff mobility behaviour.

9:00-11:00
Demonstration of video conference technology, including the possibility of testing the technology and Q&A, estimated duration of demonstrations around 15 minutes; rooms 0.27 (and 28.2.6 if necessary).

11:00-12:00
Video conference with Brussels or others (tbc): Exchange of practical experiences and views on the possibilities and limits of video conferences instead of travelling, everybody could join actively or passively, for the whole session or a couple of minutes, room 0.27.

13:00-15:00
Demonstration of video conference technology including the possibility of testing the technology and Q&A (same as the morning session), room 0.27

14:00–17:00
