Call for expression of interest in the donation of phased-out desktop computers and screens

The European Environment Agency is donating:

• 12 used DELL desktop computers (5x  GX 240; 6x GX 150; and 1x GX 280);

• 5 used DELL CRT 17" screens;

• 200 round, metal litter bins.

Governmental or non-profit, non-governmental organisations (GO/NGO) adhering to the fundamental principles of the EU (Article 6 EU Treaty) are eligible to express an interest in becoming the beneficiary of this donation. Organisations whose interests in any way conflict with those of the Agency shall be excluded.

Expressions of interest and related questions should be sent by e-mail to the Head of EMAS and Facilities, Tarja P. Knudsen: Tarja.Porkka@eea.europa.eu.

Deadline for expressions of interest (by e-mail): 19 June 2009, 16:00.

All eligible expressions of interest received on time will be entered into a secret draw. 

The beneficiary will be expected to collect the equipment from the EEA's premises at Kongens Nytorv 6, 1050 Copenhagen K.

Before receiving the donated equipment, the beneficiary shall sign a declaration agreeing not to undertake any form of commercial transaction involving the assets.
