The figure shows the cumulative specific net mass balance (mm water equivalent) of European glaciers 1946–2010.

Methodology:: Data were taken from the Fluctuation of Glaciers Database (FoG), World Glacier Monitoring Service (www.wgms.ch), 2011, data for 2010 are preliminary.
