The Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) is a national research centre for the study and the monitoring of geophysical phenomena. INGV branches are located all over the italian territory. INGV controls the national network for seismic monitoring and the multiparametric sensors network on the italian active volcanoes, and is involved in international geophysical networks and measurements campaigns.
