Calling all photography enthusiasts! The European Environment Agency (EEA) invites you to tell the story of your connection to the environment and showcase your photographic talent in the 2025 edition of our annual photo competition.

This year’s competition “Environment&Me” provides a unique opportunity to showcase your take on our planet's journey toward a sustainable future. We face unprecedented environmental challenges that have been shaping the world we live in. From the visible impacts of climate change—such as rising temperatures and extreme weather — to biodiversity loss, pollution, waste, and resource scarcity, these issues touch our everyday lives.

Through your lens, reflect on how these challenges impact and shape the world around you.

  • How do environmental challenges impact your daily life?

  • What signs of positive change or action give you hope?

  • Where can we see progress towards sustainability and where do we need to do better?

Whether you capture breathtaking landscapes, stark reminders of environmental degradation, moments of innovative transformation, or the small yet powerful actions taken by individuals, your photos will help tell the story of our shared future.

Why participate? Win exciting prizes and have your work featured in our publications and other communication activities.

How to enter? Select your best shots (maximum 5) and submit them via our online form under one or more categories before 30 May 2025. We welcome close-up pictures, bird’s-eye views or eye-level shots. Please carefully read our Competition rules and Terms and Conditions before applying.
