Forest connectivity in the EU Member States in 2018 and 2021

This table shows the average forest connectivity for each member state and the EU-27 in 2018 and 2021. It also highlights de changes and shows the details of the forest area by connectivity class in 2021. The Forest connectivity is calculated as the share of forested land covered by forest (except temporarily unstocked areas) in a local neighbourhood of 10 hectares surrounding the focal forest grid cell and averaged over the country.
