Environmental information systems
To access up-to-date air quality data at local and regional levels, please visit the European air quality index.
This enables users to gain insight into the air quality near monitoring stations in individual countries, regions and cities. The index is based on concentration values for up to five key pollutants (PM10, PM2.5, O3, NO2, SO2) and is calculated hourly for more than 2 000 air quality monitoring stations across Europe, using up-to-date data reported by EEA member and cooperating countries and by other countries reporting voluntarily.
Users may also access those up-to-date air quality data via the Up-to-date air quality data viewer, which shows hourly and daily data.
