National Emission Ceilings Directive

Term

Directive 2001/81/EC on national emission ceilings for certain atmospheric pollutants. Its objective is to set national emission ceilings for pollutants causing acidification and eutrophication and for ozone precursors in order to provide fuller protection for the environment and human health against their adverse effects.
