Generation of coal combustion residues in the EU-15, 1993-2004

Low-volume residues that comprise other solid and liquid streams such as coal mill rejects, coal pile runoff, boiler and cooling tower blowdown, or water and wastewater treatment sludge are not included. They account for less than 1% of the total volume of residues.
