EU supply of fluorinated greenhouse gases

Supply is represented as million tonnes (Mt) CO₂ equivalent using the global warming potentials (GWPs) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report (AR4).

For 2007-2013, the scope of the data is limited to hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons and sulphur hexafluoride supplied in bulk, i.e. produced within the EU or imported in gas containers. Starting in 2014, nitrogen trifluoride supply and imports of fluorinated greenhouse gases contained in products or equipment were included.

Data from Croatia are included from only 2013 onwards.
