Historic and projected greenhouse gas emissions trends

In 'International scope', GHG totals do not include emissions from Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF) and international bunker fuels, in line with the UNFCCC inventory reporting guidelines.
In 'Domestic scope', international aviation is included in the totals, in line with EU legislation.
All emission trends refer to EU28. The geographical scope of the United Kingdom is consistent with the coverage of the country under the Kyoto Protocol.
The EU28 targets displayed do not include international aviation.
