Methodology

Individual habitat types listed in the Annex I. of the Habitat Directive habitats were classified based on their distribution to 3 above specified categories. For classification, published literature and expert knowledge was used. The results were summarized for 9 main habitat groups distinguished by the Annex I. and graphically displayed.
