Cadmium accumulation in soils in the EU-27, 2010

The map shows areas where cadmium levels are accumulating (with values greater than zero) and depleting (with values less than zero). Accumulation rates have been slowing more recently as a result of lower application rates of inorganic fertilisers and lower levels of input from atmospheric pollution.
