Total organic carbon emission intensity of the chemical industry
Chart (static)
Note: The chart displays changes in the total organic carbon (TOC) emission intensity of the chemical industry between 2004 and 2012. TOC emission intensity is expressed as kg of TOC discharged in water per unit of production of the chemical industry (expressed as one million Euro gross value added). 2007 TOC emission data for Italy is omitted due to the uncertainty of the units reported in E-PRTR.
